STATE COLLEGE, PA (April 10, 2023) – Lions Legacy Club (LLC), the leading Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective supporting Penn State football student-athletes, is rolling out a limited-time marketing campaign to support Penn State football student-athletes through the annual Blue White Spring Game. By participating in the LLC Blue White Challenge, fans will be able to directly contribute to future NIL opportunities for players and be entered to win merchandise signed by members of the team, including autographed footballs, autographed jerseys, and more.
The campaign marks another exciting new development for Lions Legacy Club, which is the only NIL collective at Penn State focused solely on supporting football student-athletes. Starting on Tuesday, April 11, fans can contribute in various ways:
1. Online by visiting supportlionslegacyclub.com 2. On social media by following @LionsLegacyClub on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
3. In person, at the Lions Legacy Club tailgate prior to the Blue White Game on April 15, starting at 12 p.m. in Lot 18.
“We’re really excited for this Blue White Challenge, that any Penn State fan can be a part of to make a difference for Penn State football players,” said Michael Mauti, Penn State All-American and one of Lions Legacy Club’s Founders. “Our commitment to Penn State is real and we want as many fans as possible to join us in that commitment.”
The Blue White Challenge will close on Sunday, April 23 at 12:00 a.m. EST. Winners will be contacted starting on Monday, April 24 and throughout the week to get their prizes. All proceeds will be used by Lions Legacy Club to create NIL opportunities for football student-athletes with local businesses and non-profit organizations in the State College community.

About Name, Image, Likeness (NIL)
On June 30, 2021, the NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved an interim name, image, and likeness policy. This new policy allows all NCAA Division I, II and III student-athletes to be compensated for their NIL as of July 1, 2021. Student-athletes can now engage in paid community appearances, autograph sessions, youth coaching engagements, and sports marketing campaigns.
